Facility: This community health and wellness center is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) dedicated to providing comprehensive healthcare services to the local community. The facility focuses on delivering quality primary care with an emphasis on preventive medicine and community wellness programs.

Opportunity: Physician - Pediatrics

Job Details:

• Provide pediatric care with a schedule of 18 patients per day minimum

• Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

• Must have prior FQHC (Federally Qualified Health Center) experience

• Must be comfortable treating children with behavioral health issues, particularly anxiety

• Experience with Pediatric Chronic Care Management required

• Chart closure within 72 hours of patient encounter

• MD or DO accepted with board certification required

• Active DEA license required before start date

• California medical license required (no IMLC accepted)

• BLS certification required

• Must provide complete CV with month and date on work experience and all employment gaps accounted for

• Required immunizations include:
Flu vaccine, TB status/X-ray (within 90 days), MMR titer or complete series, Hepatitis B titer or complete series, Varicella Zoster titer or complete series, and Tdap (within 10 years)

• Credentialing timeframe is 30-60 days (6 weeks standard for timely submissions)

• 30-day notice required for assignment termination

• Decision typically made within 7-14 days

• In-house housing coordinator available for lodging assistance

Compensation:
