About the Position
Join Our Team as a Urology Locum Tenens Physician – Make a Difference in Patient Care!
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Urology Physician to provide high-quality care in a dynamic clinical environment. Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert urological care in a fast-paced setting.
Cover outpatient clinics, assist with call coverage, and support the surgical team.
Ensure compliance with all hospital privileging and credentialing requirements.
Maintain accurate documentation and case logs as mandated.
Required Skills:
Active CA Medical License.
Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Urology.
Current hospital clinical activity of at least 2 years in Urology.
Proficiency with active fluoroscopy (FLURO) required; must verify online prior to submission.
Ability to work flexible hours including M-Thurs, Friday, and weekend call shifts.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have
Skills:
Experience with temporary fluoroscopy.
Familiarity with hospital privileging processes.
Previous locum or temporary staffing experience in urology.
Preferred
Education and Experience:
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
At least 2 years of relevant hospital-based clinical practice.
Current and unrestricted California medical license.
Experience in surgical case logging and documentation.
Other Requirements:
Willingness to obtain fluoroscopy certification if not already possessed.
Ability to work scheduled dates in 2026:
June 16-23, July 1-8, August 18-25, October 2-5, December 21-24.
Candidates must adhere to the privileging timeline, with all application materials submitted promptly.
Knowledge of and compliance with all applicable state, federal, and local laws.
