Required Skills:
Active DEA license and current state medical license (MD/DO) Prior experience working in Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) Proficiency in treating children with behavioral health issues, including anxiety disorders
Experience with Pediatric Chronic Care Management Ability to accurately document work experiences with dates, including all employment gaps Chart closure within 72 hours of patient encounter Flexibility to see a minimum of 18 patients per day, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nice to Have
Skills:
Additional experience in mental health consultation for pediatric patients Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems Bilingual abilities to serve diverse populations Preferred
Education and Experience:
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Prior experience in FQHC settings preferred Demonstrated experience handling behavioral health issues in pediatric populations Other Requirements:
Current immunizations:
Flu vaccine, TB test/X-ray (within 90 days), MMR, Hep B, Varicella, and Tdap (within last 10 years) Credentialing process expected to take 30-60 days; timely submission of required documentation is essential Travelers must be prepared for a credentialing period of approximately six weeks for locum assignments Commitment to providing a 30-day notice prior to ending assignments This position offers an hourly pay rate of $1.00 and features competitive benefits such as weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical coverage, paid sick leave in accordance with applicable laws, licensure and travel reimbursements, and a generous referral bonus program.
