Job Title

Oversee and support the Winship TSC program, including program implementation, learner supports, staff practices, and coordination with site and district personnel.

Provide oversight and coordination for secondary-level instructional and behavioral support, including monitoring staffing needs and coordinating coverage for daily vacancies.

Supervise and evaluate BSA staff assigned to Winship.

Participate on hiring and interview panels for special education and support positions.

Complete reference checks for prospective employees.

Work with school teams to review behavioral data and monitor the effectiveness and implementation of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) across secondary programs.

Conduct and complete Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs).

Collaborate with staff to develop, revise, and monitor behavior-related goals, services, supports, and interventions.

Attend IEP meetings and present assessment and progress-monitoring data, contribute to the development of goals and services, and support teams in determining appropriate behavioral and programmatic supports.

Monitor the implementation and effectiveness of behavioral goals, services, and supports identified through the IEP process.

Attend site-level special education meetings at assigned secondary schools and participate in problem-solving, program planning, and coordination of services.

Work closely with school psychologists, case managers, general education teachers, special education teachers, administrators, and support staff to address learner needs and strengthen inclusive and specialized programming.

Support consistency of behavioral practices, documentation, and service delivery across secondary sites.

Experience:

Job-related experience is required. Two or more years of experience working with special needs children in a school setting involving students with complex or severe behavioral problems.

Education:

Any combination equivalent to:
Completion of two years of higher education (48 units), an Associates or higher degree or equivalent experience. BCBA Required Valid California Driver's License (provided upon job offer) DOJ/FBI Fingerprint Clearance (completed upon job offer) First Aid/CPR Certificate (Obtained within 6 months or 130 days of employment)
