job description- ability to professionally greet the public, utilize a multiline telephone, relay vital information to appropriate personnel or agencies, multi-task, work well under pressure, work independently and as a team player.
- gather required documentation and analyze materials submitted by lea's for proper handling with entry into data base system and provide technical assistance to aid crime victims in completing the victim of crime application for submission to the california victim compensation program.
- provide crisis intervention, court orientation, court accompaniment, criminal case status, and connect crime victims with community resources, keeping detailed and accurate records, and respond to incidents of mass violence/casualties when needed/requested.
- knowledge of the california criminal justice court system and its procedures, serve as a liaison to, and coordinate services with the california department of corrections and rehabilitation (cdcr) including, but not limited to assistance in completing the cdcr 1707 and victim attendance at parole hearings.
- ability to compile, research, organize and analyze statistical data to present to supervisors and for reporting purposes for submission to grant funders in various law enforcement databases.
a typical schedule for this position is monday through friday, 8 am to 5 pm with 1 hour lunch.

This class is alternately staffed with administrative analyst ii and incumbents may advance to the higher level after gaining experience and demonstrating proficiency which meet the qualifications of the higher level class.
administrative analyst ii is the journey level class of the series, fully competent to perform responsible and difficult analytical work in varied departmental staff support areas as designated by management staff. Projects may include statistical analyses, operations support, policy, procedure and budget development, or program implementation and administration, or other areas which may be county-wide or specific to a department. Incumbents are expected to exercise independent judgment in selecting study approach and analytical techniques, and in making sound recommendations.
This class is distinguished from senior administrative analyst in that the latter performs more complex analytical work with greater county-wide impact or with specific programmatic implications, often with the implied authority of the county administrative officer.
