Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with at least 2 years of recent experience, current ARRT credentials, and Epic proficiency.
Responsibilities- Position is in an acute care hospital within the Mammography department
- Day shifts of 5x8 hours from 8:00 to 17:30
- No floating required between like units
- No on-call obligations
- Block scheduling may be available for Sat-Mon if needed
- Epic EMR experience is required
- Radiology staff are expected to wear dark solid colored scrubs
- Free parking is provided on the first day with assignment parking given during orientation
- Former permanent staff must wait 3 months before returning as a traveler and cannot live within 50 miles of this facility
- Limited RTO is allowed and all requests must be submitted up front
- All travelers may be required to float to facilities within the state based on assignment needs
- Current BLS certification required
- Current ARRT and ARRT Advanced certifications required
- Active CA state license required if applicable
- Minimum 2 years of mammography experience required
- Must have experience in acute care or comparable hospital settings
- References from at least 2 supervisors covering 1 year of recent experience in the specialty are required
- Must provide SSN and DOB for consideration
- COVID and flu vaccination or documentation may be required
