Pharmacy Technician - Infusion

Pharmacy Technician - Home Infusion at Providence St. Joseph Hospital Eureka, CA. This position is Full time and will work 8-hour, Day shifts.

A Pharmacy Technician possesses an active California Pharmacy Technician License. Under the supervision of the Area Pharmacy Management Team and the PIC, the Pharmacy Technician assists SJH Pharmacists in all functions required by the department that the Pharmacy Technician can legally perform. A Pharmacy Technician employs intellectual, interpersonal and technical skills through the utilization of pharmacy processes to provide expedient and exceptional patient care.

The pharmacy technician functions as a vital member of the Pharmacy team through interdependent and dependent roles within the department. Provides age-appropriate care for infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

• Successful completion of training that satisfies the Pharmacy Technician license requirements of the CA State Board of Pharmacy
• Upon hire:
  California Pharmacy Technician License

• 1 year of Hospital pharmacy experience.
