Polysomnographer​/Sleep Tech

Duties

• Conduct sleep studies and assist with the backlog of over 300 patients needing evaluations.
• Score and result approximately 100 sleep studies.
• Provide education on scoring techniques while completing sleep studies.

• Experience with charting systems, specifically Epic.
• Proficient in using equipment such as Respironics and Alice Study Types.
• Conduct various sleep studies including Adult Maintenance of Wakefulness Test (MWT) and Adult Multiple Sleep Latency Test (MSLT).
• Ability to perform seizure study mask fitting with full face, nasal mask, and nasal pillow.
• Monitor cardiac abnormalities, ECG, EEG, End‑Tidal CO2, O2 Saturation, and Periodic Limb Movement (PLM).
• Competent in PSG, Respiratory Inductance Plethysmography (RIP), and staging and scoring of sleep‑related events.
• Perform titration procedures including ASV, BiPAP, CPAP, and oxygen administration.
• Provide O2 Therapy and home study training; experience with Medi Tech and WATCHPAT is preferred.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant field.
• Certifications required: RPSGT; preferred certifications include ACLS, BLS, and CCHS.
• Experience with patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
