About the Position
Pay Rate: $44.00 - $48.00/Hourly.
Summary:
A Polysomnographer (Sleep Technician) conducts sleep studies to diagnose sleep disorders under the supervision of a board-certified sleep physician. The Sleep Tech monitors, records, and analyzes patients’ sleep patterns using specialized equipment, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout overnight and daytime studies.
Locals accepted at lower rate
Responsibilities:
Set up and calibrate polysomnography (PSG) equipment, including EEG, EOG, EMG, ECG, airflow, respiratory effort, and oximetry sensors.
Prepare patients for sleep studies and explain procedures.
Monitor patients throughout sleep studies, ensuring safety and accurate data collection.
Identify and document sleep events such as apneas, hypopneas, limb movements, and arousals.
Troubleshoot technical issues with monitoring equipment.
Requirements

Epic experience Required,
BLS Certification,
ACLS Certification,
RPSGT,
