Behavioral Health Clinician (BHC)
We’re looking for a Behavioral Health Clinician (BHC) to join the integrated care team at Eureka Community Health Center in Eureka, California. This dynamic position is ideal for someone who values collaboration, continuity of care, and community impact.
Key Responsibilities- Identify, triage, plan, manage, and provide primary behavioral health services for patients with overlapping physical and behavioral health needs.
- Provide assessment, therapeutic treatment, referral, support, education, and skill-training through a variety of strategies focused on addressing specific behavioral changes in support of improved physical, social, and mental health.
- Serve patients in individual settings, in-person or via tele-health.
- Master’s or Doctoral degree (LCSW/LMFT/Ph.D/Psy.D)
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT), or Clinical Psychologist in California (active and in good standing)
- Experience in a similar position in a community health center or outpatient mental health clinic
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care, CBT, play therapy, and family-centered approaches
- Collaborative, flexible, and dedicated to serving diverse communities (bilingual encouraged)
