Job Description

This is a Night 3x12-Hour shift position from 18:00 to 06:30.

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team. In this role, you will provide essential care to high-risk obstetric patients and assist in various procedures including cesarean sections. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar setting and be prepared to support our culturally diverse population.

• Assist with high-risk deliveries and cesarean sections.
• Provide care related to labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care.
• Utilize Epic charting system for patient documentation.
• Administer medications and monitor patients' vital signs.
• Support breastfeeding and lactation needs of new mothers.
• Educate parents on newborn care and postpartum recovery.
• Participate in the triage of obstetrical patients.

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Current California RN license required (pending licenses not accepted).
• Certifications:
  
  ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS.
• Experience with high-risk obstetrics and familiarity with clinical procedures.
• Ability to float to other areas as needed to meet facility requirements.
