About Eureka Community Health Center Located in Eureka, the hub of Humboldt County, this historic coastal city sits along Humboldt Bay and is known as the heart of the Redwood Coast, with one of the largest collections of Victorian architecture in the region.

This site offers providers the opportunity to practice collaborative, relationship-centered care within a team-based model while serving a diverse and underserved population. Providers build long-term, trusted relationships with patients in a setting where access to care and continuity play a critical role in improving community health outcomes.

Summary:

Provides comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care to patients in collaboration with an Obstetrician or Family Medicine Physician. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, managing labor and delivery, providing prenatal and postpartum care, educating patients on women’s health and reproductive wellness, and delivering routine gynecologic services.

Eureka Chamber of Commerce Education and/ or

Experience:

Completion and certification from an accredited graduate-level midwifery program leading to certification as a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM).Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations prior to hire date Current California certification in Certified Nurse Midwifery (CNM).Current DEA license.

Current CPR license.
