Quick Facts:

- Start Date: 07/17/2026
- Duration: Ongoing assignment
- Shift Schedule: 8:00 am - 12:00 pm, 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm (no call)
- Hours/Week: Full-time, 4 weeks per month, 8 hours/day guaranteed, with pre-approved OT possible
- Employment Type: Temp/Locum
- Licenses/Certifications: Active CA license, DEA, BLS, Board Certified or eligible in Hematology/Oncology
- Experience: Minimum 2 years inpatient/outpatient hematology/oncology experience, inpatient case logs required for privileges
- Hourly Rate: $1.00/hour
- Pay package discussed upon application

- Provide outpatient hematology and oncology care in a clinic setting
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement treatment plans
- Conduct patient consultations, follow-ups, and administer chemotherapy treatments
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters
- Assist in fulfilling facility-specific protocols and standards
- Support patient education and deliver compassionate care
- Active California Nurse Practitioner license
- DEA registration
- Minimum of 2 years’ hematology/oncology experience, inpatient logs required for privileges
- BLS certification
- Ability to work independently and in team settings
- Strong communication skills and commitment to quality patient care
This outpatient Hematology/Oncology clinic is attached to a chemo treatment center and hospital, offering an integrated care environment. Providers with clean files are eligible for temporary privileges with an earlier start date, ensuring continuity of care and professional growth. Please ensure your credentials and logs are up-to-date to facilitate a smooth credentialing process.
