Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery
This is a 13-week contract position.
Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (18:00 - 06:30)
We are seeking a registered nurse with experience in labor and delivery for a night shift position. The ideal candidate should have a background in postpartum care and be comfortable working with a high-risk OB and culturally diverse population. Responsibilities will include circulating during cesarean sections and providing care in various settings as needed.
Assist with labor and delivery, including vaginal and cesarean births
Provide postpartum care and support to mothers and newborns
Conduct assessments and monitor fetal heart rates
Administer medication and IV therapy as per physician's orders
Follow all hospital protocols for high-risk deliveries
Minimum of 1 year of experience in labor and delivery
Valid CA state RN license (Compact license must be in hand at submission)
Certifications:
ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS
Experience with Epic charting system is required
