Description:
Start date is ASAP. First-time travelers are accepted. Weekend requirement is 3 out of 6 shifts. Daily patient visits average 135. The unit has 20 rooms and 26 beds. The average daily census is 105. Travelers will cover the Observation Unit for ER hold patients. Call is not required. Travelers are expected to float within the facility and to nearby affiliate facilities.
The facility supports various age groups, including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, social services, and more. Preferred certifications include TNCC, but it is acceptable to obtain it prior to the start. Travelers must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays:
Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. Two references covering the past year are required. Travelers must be able to start their assignment with a valid state license in hand. Compliance with local radius rules is necessary. Travelers should look into housing options in the area, as availability may be limited.
