Local Travel Acute Care RN Assignment
Local travel acute care RN assignment in Northern California. 13-week contract near Eureka, CA, with weekly pay up to $3,200 based on experience. Ideal for experienced acute care or medical-surgical nurses seeking a short-term travel opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide safe, compassionate, evidence-based care to acute care patients.
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and treatment responses.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies per physician orders and protocols.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and recognize changes in condition.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other professionals to coordinate care.
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, treatments, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate, timely electronic medical records and clinical documentation.
- Follow infection-control procedures, patient-safety standards, and hospital policies.
- Respond to changes in patient status and participate in emergency interventions when needed.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program.
- Active California RN license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- Medical-Surgical nursing experience.
- Current clinical credentials must remain valid throughout the assignment.
