American Traveler is seeking a Registered Nurse for NICU with a andment with at least 1 year of experICU experience and current BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications, requiring a CA compact RN license in hand at submission.

- Active RN license required (California license mandatory, compact accepted, must be be in hand at time of submission)
- Minimum of 1 year ofICU experience required
- Prered experience preferred
- Current certifications: BLS, NRP required required, STABLE preferred
- Epic chartingting system experience preferred
- 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years, from a comparable specialty/setting
- Response current documentation of Social Security Number and Date of Birth required for consideration
- Care for neonates ranging from 29 weeks to greater than 34 weeks gestation
- Attend high-risk deliveries and provide immediate neonatal care
- Manage patients requiring UAC and UVC lines and IV therapy
- Provide ventilator management including AC, PC, SIMV, CPAP, BIPAP, and PEEP modes
- Support breastfeeding initiatives and handling of breast milk
- Utilize eat, sleep, console approach to neonatal care
- Travelers may be required to float between sister facilities within the same health system
- Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- Candidates should submit RTO requests upfront during the submission process, as post-offer requests may not be accommodated
- Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate; radius rule applies at 50 miles for standard travel rate eligibility
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
- First-time travelers are not required for this position
