Travel Nurse - Acute Care
Provide high-quality acute care and medical-surgical nursing services for a 13-week local travel assignment in Northern California. Deliver evidence-based care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and maintain accurate documentation while upholding safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:Provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to acute care patients.
Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, symptoms, and responses to treatment.
Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to physician orders and facility protocols.
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and recognize changes in patient condition.
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatments, and discharge instructions.
Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records and clinical documentation.
Follow infection-control procedures, patient-safety standards, and hospital policies.
Respond appropriately to changes in patient status and participate in emergency interventions when necessary.
Deliver high-quality Medical-Surgical and Acute Care nursing services in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Demonstrate professionalism, adaptability, teamwork, and strong clinical judgment throughout the assignment.
Qualifications:Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program.
Active California RN license required.
BLS certification required.
ACLS certification required.
PALS certification required.
Medical-Surgical nursing experience required.
Current clinical credentials must remain valid throughout the assignment.

Acute Care experience strongly preferred.
