Provide safe, compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to acute care patients in a 13-week local travel assignment near Eureka, CA. The role offers up to $3,200 per week based on experience and includes a fast-paced medical-surgical environment.
Key Responsibilities:Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to acute care patients.
Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, symptoms, and treatment responses.
Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
Administer medications, treatments, and therapies per physician orders and facility protocols.
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and recognize changes in condition.
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapists, and other professionals to coordinate care.
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, medications, treatments, and discharge instructions.
Maintain accurate, timely electronic medical records and clinical documentation.
Follow infection-control procedures, patient-safety standards, and hospital policies.
Respond to changes in patient status and participate in emergency interventions when necessary.
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program.
Active California RN license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
Medical-Surgical nursing experience.
Current clinical credentials must remain valid throughout the assignment.
Skills:
Acute Care experience strongly preferred.
