Nurse Practitioner, Healthcare Nursing
Full-time Nurse Practitioner in Family Practice located near Eureka, California. Provide comprehensive primary care across the lifespan in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. Deliver quality care while supporting a multidisciplinary team and maintaining high standards of clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages
Perform physical examinations and comprehensive patient assessments
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
Develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practice
Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and laboratory results
Prescribe medications and medical devices in accordance with California regulations
Provide preventive healthcare, wellness counseling, and patient education
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
Accurately document patient encounters within the electronic medical record
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient care programs
Current, unrestricted California Registered Nurse (RN) License
Current, unrestricted California Nurse Practitioner (NP) License
Graduate of an approved Nurse Practitioner program that meets California Board of Registered Nursing standards
Current furnishing credentials permitting the furnishing of medications and devices in California
Current, unrestricted DEA registration for California
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Minimum of two years of Nurse Practitioner experience
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a healthcare team
Strong communication, clinical decision-making, and organizational skills
