Travel Nurse Source  is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Eureka, California, 95501!

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Eureka, CA | Acute Care

Contract | Days | 4x12-Hour Shifts (6:00–18:00) | Onsite

• Provide direct nursing care in a Labor and Delivery unit, with postpartum experience preferred
• Care for high-risk OB patients within a culturally diverse population
• Circulate on cesarean sections as required
• Float within scope of practice to meet facility staffing needs, including potential float to nearby sister facilities
• Meet weekend staffing requirements as needed
• Manage an average daily census of 15–20 patients across an 11-room, 15-bed unit

• Active California RN license required (pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
• Must commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays:
  Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submittal; post-offer RTO requests may not be considered
• RTO requests limited to no more than 7 days per contract period
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a standard traveler (locals may be considered under separate terms)
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

• Postpartum nursing experience strongly preferred
• Experience working with high-risk OB populations
• Prior travel nursing experience welcome; first-time travelers are also encouraged to apply

• Opportunity to work in a dynamic Labor and Delivery setting serving a diverse patient population with a variety of clinical experiences including cesarean section circulating
• Expected schedule of 4x12-hour day shifts with an anticipated start date of ASAP
