Overview
Join our DYNAMIC team at Bickford Senior Living as a Maintenance Coordinator. The Maintenance Coordinator ensures that the Branch is clean and in good working order, using expertise to provide a safe and well-kept home for residents. This position offers a full suite of benefits options that vary based on employment status.
Benefits- Full-time employees are eligible for all benefits (medical, dental, vision, and voluntary products)
- Part-time employees (29 or fewer hours per week) are eligible for Voluntary Life, Voluntary Short-Term Disability
- Benefits start the 1st of the month following 30 days of employment

- Pay available daily
- Maintain the Branch to a standard of excellence reflective of the quality of care provided to residents
- Prioritize and complete all maintenance tasks in a timely manner
- Address maintenance issues promptly, notifying the Director when outside services are needed
- Ensure all apartments are move-in-ready within 3 days after move-out
- Assist in arranging service contracts and bids as assigned
- Promptly complete items from Maintenance Request forms
- Manage the Preventive Maintenance Work Schedule to ensure items are completed timely
- Order supplies and chemicals as assigned
- Identify emergency situations and respond appropriately using the applicable Bickford procedure
- Ensure equipment remains in working order and is used safely
- Complete Resident Monitoring System Testing Procedure Checklist as scheduled
- Complete the Exit Door Inspection Checklist as scheduled
- Perform emergency tests according to the Preventive Maintenance Work Schedule
- Ensure chemicals are securely stored, labeled, and used per directions; wear appropriate PPE
- Ensure OSHA compliance while working in the Branch
- Complete tasks necessary to comply with all applicable state and federal regulatory agencies
- High School Diploma or GED
- Willing to take additional training or education as required by specific states
- CPR and First Aid certifications are required or willingness to obtain
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Written and verbal skills for effective communication
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
