Industrial Spray Painter

Trillium Staffing is currently hiring an Industrial Spray Painter. Duties will include spraying the surfaces of machines, manufactured products, or a working area with protective material such as paint, enamel, glaze, gelcoat, or lacquer.

• Clean grease and dirt from product.
• Apply masking tape over parts and areas that are not to be coated.
• Fill or smooth cavities and dents to attain a smooth surface.
• Select coating liquid to produce desired color.
• Pour coating liquid into spray container and connect gun to air hose.
• Turn sprayer valves and nozzle to regulate width and pressure of spray.
• Pull the trigger and direct spray onto a work surface to apply primer and finish coat.
• Coat areas inaccessible to hand sprayer with a brush.
• Clean spraying equipment and brushes with solvent and manage the waste from solvent cleaning operations.
• Remove rust from metal with a wire brush or steel wool.
• Other duties as assigned.

This position is available on 1st shift, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Pay ranges from $20–$24 per hour, based on experience. This position is full-time and temp‑to‑hire.

• HSD or GED.
• At least 6 months of industrial painting experience.
• Basic industrial math skills.
• Ability to pass respirator and fit testing.
• Ability to pass respirator testing and pre‑employment screenings.
