Aims Community College:
Multimedia Content Manager (Multimedia Designer/Photographer/Videographer/Producer)

The Multimedia Content Manager develops and produces visual content that strengthens the College’s brand, supports enrollment goals, and advances institutional storytelling across digital and print channels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce video, motion, and audio content: capture and edit video for web, social media, email, events, and internal communications; manage lighting, audio capture, interviewing, and on‑location production; create short‑form motion graphics/animations and video packages; produce accessible outputs.
  • Professional photography: photograph campus events, portraits, classroom/program activity, marketing campaigns, and leadership needs; plan and lead photo sessions; execute portrait sessions; ensure proper releases; maintain consistent quality and style.
  • Multimedia content strategy: translate institutional priorities into multimedia concepts and plans; create creative briefs, storyboards, scripts, shot lists, and production schedules; align deliverables to brand standards; coordinate timelines and approvals.
  • Edit, retouch, and deliver final assets: photo editing and retouching; design supporting graphic assets; prepare deliverables for multiple channels; maintain quality control.
  • Manage asset organization, archiving, and equipment: maintain organized archive; track usage rights; maintain equipment; improve workflows.
  • Write and edit copy: draft short‑form written content; adapt writing style; write narrative context.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, Photography, Video Production, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Three (3) years of professional experience producing multimedia content for marketing, communications, or brand storytelling, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Demonstrated experience managing end‑to‑end production workflows.
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong visual storytelling instincts and decision‑making skills.
  • Professional and collaborative manner, managing multiple high‑priority projects.
  • Discretion and professionalism when photographing students, employees, and public events.
  • Organized workflows for file management, metadata, releases, and archiving.
  • Adaptability to changing needs.
  • Must have or be willing to use a company vehicle and/or personal vehicle for business travel; must pass MVR and be insurable under Aims insurance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to direct and coach non‑professional subjects for portraits/interviews.
  • Consistent editing styles across multiple creators.
  • Apply accessibility best practices.
  • Data‑informed creative decisions.
  • Lead small production sets efficiently.

Salary
  • Minimum hiring annual salary: $59,286.00.
  • Maximum hiring annual salary: $64,029.00. To attain the maximum, additional 5 years of experience or higher degree is required.
Additional Information
  • All positions require a criminal background check and may require additional screenings such as MVR, physical, or drug screen. Candidates must complete all screenings in a timely manner.
