Full‑time positions are available with preschoolers at our client‑sponsored center conveniently located in downtown Evanston. With a beautiful rooftop playground, art studio, STEM lab, indoor movement areas, Smart Board, and more, the activities are endless. Base Pay Range$19.75/hr – $24.10/hr
Responsibilities- Create hands‑on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children.
- Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones.
- Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines.
- Minimum age 18 with a high school diploma or GED.
- Preferred: 1 year of professional experience teaching in child care, daycare, or preschool settings.
- Preferred: CDA, Associate, or bachelor's degree in early education or related field.
- Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) for children.
- Must meet state requirements to be Teacher Qualified in IL (three options listed).

Completion of credential programs approved by the Department, i.e., CDA.
This position requires the employee to comply with all applicable federal, state, local, Bright Horizons, and client site requirements concerning immunizations, employment physical/screening, and health and safety training. The employee will work in person in the early education/preschool child‑care center to provide supervision, care, curriculum delivery, and services per Bright Horizons policies and procedures in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

CompensationThe hourly rate for this position is between $19.75 and $24.10 per hour. The pay range listed reflects Bright Horizons' expectations but actual compensation will depend on experience, education, training, certifications, geography, and other factors.
