Job Summary
Planning, stocking and implementing and supervising visual/performing arts camp for very young children, ages 3 to 6 in a day camp setting.
Responsibilities- Assist in training and supervision of camp staff
- Assist and collaborate with other Arts Camp Staff
- Attend to the health, safety, and discipline of campers at all times, adhering to all Health Department protocols
- Manage supplies and maintain an organized and safe camp environment
- Maintain positive customer relations with campers and their parents
- Perform administrative tasks that support the efficient running of the program
- College degree or coursework in early childhood education, the arts, pedagogy or related field or equivalent experience
- Excellent organizational and communication skills and ability to cooperate and collaborate with artists
- Must be able to physically keep up with children
- Responsible and reliable
- Prior camp experience and experience working with children
You must be available for full weeks during camp season to work.
