Job Description If you are looking to build or begin a career in the sports industry, start with the Chicago Union! We are looking to bring on sports photographers that will be responsible for capturing player headshots and shooting action in games, practices, and team events, all of which will be used in team posters, website, social media and graphic design.

This is a great opportunity to bolster the resume and get some important sport related experience! The next round of the hiring process will include a Photographer / Videographer in-person tryout in November 2025.

Responsibilities include:

* Take photos/videos at team practices, games, and events for use in graphics
* Edit photos and videos to sharpen action shots and create player graphics
* Develop stats graphics and other creative visuals for social media
* Prepare social media posts using content produced
* Develop graphics to be used in marketing emails
* Other tasks as needed

The Sports Photographers are paid contract positions and will likely require less than 5 hours per week between January and August. Must be able to get to Evanston regularly for games on weekends, and occasionally to Chicago for practices, tryouts, and other events. Willingness to travel with the team on away game weekends is a plus, but not required.
