- Designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining software modules with a focus on integrating AI capabilities into physics-based simulation workflows.
- Collaborating with senior engineers and domain experts to translate technical requirements into functional, robust software components.
- Refining prototypes for AI-driven features, assisting in their transition from concept to production-ready code.
- Staying current with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and simulation technologies, and proposing innovative ideas to enhance product capabilities.
- Participating in code reviews and technical discussions to ensure high-quality deliverables and adherence to best practices.
- Working under the general supervision of a development manager, while proactively contributing to team goals and project milestones.
You Will Have:
- Accelerate the integration of AI technologies into next-generation simulation products, making advanced engineering tools more usable and accessible.
- Enable customers to tackle complex simulation challenges through intuitive, AI-powered features.
- Drive innovation in physics-based modeling, contributing to the democratization of simulation for diverse industries and user groups.
- Enhance the performance and scalability of simulation software, supporting applications in automotive, aerospace, and electronics design.
- Help shape the future direction of Synopsys’ simulation products through your technical expertise and creative problem-solving.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and collaboration within a high-performing engineering team.
- BS in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field with 2 years of experience, or MS in a relevant discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in technical software development (academic, research, or industry projects).
- Familiarity with modern software development practices, including agile methodologies, version control, and code review.
- Strong background in AI/ML frameworks, including experience with large language models.
- Proficiency with Python and frameworks such as PyTorch or Tensor Flow.
- Preferred:
Knowledge of physics-based simulation tools (LS-DYNA, Ansys), CAD modeling, CFD, real-time simulation, optimization workflows, or generative design.
