This is a part‑time position. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience. (Pay range is $15.00/hr.)
DescriptionOverview:
The Associate is responsible for completing in‑store food and non‑food demonstrations, acquiring and maintaining knowledge of products represented, preparing, serving, and breaking down product, equipment, and supplies, and intercepting consumers to demonstrate products in a professional manner. The Associate maintains an overall professional appearance consistent with the requirements of the job.
- Possess the aptitude and ability to gain adequate knowledge of the products represented.
- Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to consumers in a positive manner.
- Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the product.
- Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers and knives.
- Maintain a clean, sterile and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.
- Maintain a professional appearance consistent with the job requirements.
- Properly set up and prepare an event table for execution.
- Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
- Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
- Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives.
- Complete expense reports as per Company Policy.
- Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution.
- Access the Internet, navigate the company’s electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view assigned documents including Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF forms.
This role is not expected to exceed 25 hours per week, although the company may change the role based on business needs.
Qualifications- High school diploma or GED, or one to three months of related experience and/or training preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient in using personal computers or mobile devices with applications and internal systems.
- Local Food Handler permit may be required.
- English is the primary language skill; bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity.
Associate will regularly stand and walk, use hands and fingers, reach overhead up to 65 inches, talk and hear, read instructions, stoop, kneel, squat, climb or step up a ladder, balance, lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds), push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart, prepare foods and beverages using required appliances, and be in contact with cleaning supplies.
