$37.47 - $58.08 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
Position Highlights:
- Position: Radiation Therapist
- Sign on Bonus: $15,000
- Location: Evanston, IL
- Hours: Full-Time (40 hrs/wk)
- Shift: M-F 7:30am-4:00pm
- Travel: Local
- Glenview and Highland Park
- License: IEMA License and application of ARRT required. Must obtain ARRT 2 years after employment.
- Education: Completion of radiation therapy program; minimum of a two-year associate degree/certificate required
- Certification: CPR certification required.
- Experience:
Previous experience strongly preferred. Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
- Administer radiation for the purpose of treating diseases, primarily cancer
- Perform simulations, treatment planning, and special procedures
- Perform quality assurance activities, detecting equipment malfunctions and taking appropriate action
- Perform weekly chart checks
