Hourly Pay Range:
$35.35 - $54.79 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
Ultrasound Technologist
Posit i on H i gh li ghts:
- Position: Ultrasound Technologist
- Location: Evanston Hospital
- Full Time/Part Time: Per diem
- Hours: as needed
- Call: 4-6 calls per month
- Required Travel: Local
- Perform ultrasound exam
- Prepare patients for exam: obtains and records history, explains procedure, positions patients and ensures their comfort
- Interprets ultrasound
- Cleans and maintains equipment
- Schedules patients if necessary
- License: ARDMS
- Education: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience
- Certification: CPR-BLS required. Completion of formal ultrasound program approved by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers required. Registry eligible required; prefer Registered Ultra sonographer
