Overview

Sunflower Clinical Group is an in‑office and telehealth therapy practice located in downtown Evanston, Illinois. We provide accessible, evidence‑based treatment to diverse populations, with a focus on LGBTQ+ clients, early adulthood, identity development, stress, anxiety, and ADHD.

Full‑time Mental Health Therapist (25+ clinical hours/week). We seek a licensed clinician (LCSW/LCPC) who is comfortable providing therapy in person in Evanston and via secure telehealth statewide.

• Provide evidence‑based mental health services to adults, emphasizing LGBTQ+ and early‑adulthood clients.
• Complete case notes, treatment plans, and other documentation promptly and accurately.
• Act with the highest levels of professionalism, confidentiality, and privacy per HIPAA, Illinois Mental Health Act, and governing bodies.
• Maintain licensure in good standing; attend regular staff and consultation meetings.
• Follow the Code of Ethics for your license.

• Masters degree in Social Work, Counseling, or equivalent clinical field.
• Full or provisional Illinois licensure (LCSW, LCPC, LSW, LPC).
• Demonstrated clinical experience with LGBTQ+ clients, especially gay‑identified men and trans+ clients.
• Competency in evidence‑informed practices such as CBT, DBT, ACT, or comparable models.
• Fluency in English and ability to complete clinical record‑keeping tasks.
• Ability to attend regular meetings and scheduled appointments at our Evanston office.
• Capacity to handle a caseload of at least 25 clients weekly at full‑time status.

• Full employee (W‑2) status with unemployment insurance, payroll taxes, and workers’ compensation.
• Pay range $51–$62 per clinical hour, paid bi‑weekly.
• Professional office space in a private, fully‑furnished Evanston location.
• One hour PTO per 20 clinical hours worked.
