AWS Cloud System Engineer

Overview

Join as an AWS Cloud System Engineer at Superhumancy Talent Partners.

C2C for the duration of the contract, with conversion to permanent employment possible within 6 months. The role leads the evaluation, remediation, and modernization of our AWS environment, combining expertise in AWS architecture, IAM, cloud security, and automation while collaborating across IT and business stakeholders.

• Assess current AWS environment, align with best practices, and recommend improvements.
• Drive modernization initiatives and support workload migrations between AWS and other cloud providers or on‑premises data centers.
• Implement IAM, governance, and multi‑account strategies across AWS Organizations.
• Design and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform or Cloud Formation.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for cloud workloads.
• Monitor, secure, and optimize costs for cloud workloads.
• Communicate technical findings to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Lead projects independently, taking ownership and providing direction.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience supporting enterprise AWS environments.
• Experience with cloud workload migrations, including AWS to Azure.
• AWS Solutions Architect – Professional or Dev Ops Engineer certification strongly preferred;
  Azure certifications a plus.
• Experience in AWS Gov Cloud environments is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, or FedRAMP.
• Hands‑on experience with container orchestration (EKS, AKS) and serverless architectures.
• Candidates must have unrestricted work authorization (Citizen or valid Green Card).
