Associate Attorney, Litigation

Overview

RealREPP, a full-service recruiting firm, is partnering with a national legal firm that specializes in Civil Litigation Defense and is seeking Associate Attorneys to work in their Chicago office (hybrid schedule - 2 days WFH per week).

• Draft legal documents such as pleadings and legal memoranda.
• Maintain strong organizational skills and manage a heavy workload.
• Work on a range of legal issues related to consumer protection, including transactional and civil litigation matters.
• Appear in local county courts as needed.

$80,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr (RealREPP provided range). Your actual pay will be based on skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

• Must be currently admitted to practice law in Illinois (multiple-state admission is a big PLUS).
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience at a law firm in litigation.
• Superior organizational & time-management skills to meet strict deadlines.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Highest ethical standards and professional integrity.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with all levels of staff and senior management.
• Strong legal research skills — proficiency in Lexis Nexis is a plus.
