OUTCOMESProvide transportation and coordination for kettle season. In doing so, maintains a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that fosters good relationships with clients, co-workers, and supervisors. This includes, but is not limited to, such actions as: resolution of conflicts in a professional manner; courteous treatment of staff, visitors, and clients; respect of others' property and person;
and professional and appropriate communication to and about clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
This position reports to the Corps Officers. In contacts related to this position's duties, this individual acts as a representative of The Salvation Army and its mission.
PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTSThis individual will be evaluated on how effectively the outcomes of this position are achieved, as well as the timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of accomplishing assigned goals.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE- High School diploma or GED preferred but not required.
- 1-year related experience with a good knowledge of the area.
- Valid Driver's License and good driving record.
- Clearance of TSA MVR check.
- Willing to promote the mission of The Salvation Army.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work with others.
- A leader who uses diplomacy and good judgment in working with others.
- Demonstrated ability to use initiative and be a self-starter.
- An attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and the ability to be flexible in light of changing job situations/priorities.
- An ability to work with money.
- This individual will only commit Army resources that have been allocated or approved.
- This individual will keep the Corps Officers informed on all critical issues relating to their area of responsibility.
- This individual will adhere to all policies and procedures in carrying out the responsibilities of this position.
