Clinical Nurse Coordinator - Emergency Department - PM/Night

Location:

Evanston Hospital

Full Time: 40 hours per week;

Hours:

8 hour shifts PM/Night rotation with rotating weekends.

Hourly Pay Range
: $43.69 - $67.72. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

• License:
  Current professional Nursing Licensure in the state of IL required.
• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required;
  Master’s degree preferred
• Certification: BLS/CPR certification required
• Experience:
  
  Minimum of 3 years’ experience in appropriate clinical setting required;
  Prior management experience preferred

• Positively contribute to safety outcomes and promote high quality patient experience
• Manage day to day clinical operations and unit workflow/throughput
• Would assume direct patient care if necessary
• Be accountable for the outcomes of care for patients in a specific clinical care area(s)
• Guide and direct a team of care-givers in providing high quality, individualized care to the patient and family, while preparing them for discharge
• Guide staff development by teaching, mentoring and counseling with new and experienced staff, for both clinical and customer loyalty skills
• Takes lead on clinical performance management
