- Deliver comprehensive patient care before, during, and after cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Continuously monitor and document the patient’s condition, including physiologic and hemodynamic data.
- Maintain ongoing communication with the attending physician and care team regarding patient status and procedural updates.
- Prepare the procedure room by assessing equipment functionality and readiness; ensure appropriate supplies are available for each case.
- Assist in the operation and maintenance of cardiovascular lab equipment and manage inventory levels.
- Support sedation and recovery processes, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout.
- Participate actively in department performance improvement and quality assurance initiatives.
- Respond effectively to emergencies and support rapid decision-making in time-sensitive situations.
- Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN); preferred.
- Active state Registered Nursing (RN) License; required.
- Current BCLS (AHA), ACLS certificate upon hire and maintain current; required.
- One (1) year clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab doing cardiac work or in a Critical Care area; required.
Pay Transparency
Saint Francis Hospital offers competitive compensation; a reasonable estimate for this role is $46.54 per hour. The exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire.
