Key Responsibilities
• Provide intensive care nursing for ICU patients, including cardiac, neuro, and medical-surgical cases.
• Float to other units such as Emergency Department, ICU, or UCU to support patient care.
• Follow established protocols and provide critical care to high-acuity patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
• Maintain all required documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies.
• Adhere to on-call and weekend rotation requirements, including holiday coverage.
Required Qualifications
• Active Illinois nursing license.
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, particularly in cardiac and neuro units.
• Current CPR, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Epic EMR experience.
• Ability to pass an EKG test.
• Skills checklist and recent references.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Strong critical care skills with experience in diverse ICU settings.
• Experience in busy hospital environments with float requirements.
• Flexibility to work night shifts and weekend rotations.
$2142 includes taxable hourly rate plus meals and lodging stipend. IDEAL JOB :
