Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Coordinator to support daily operations in an adult psychiatric unit. The coordinator will serve as a clinical resource, coordinate staffing and patient assignments, support admissions and discharges, and promote safe, high-quality patient care.
Key Highlights- Pay: $45.21–$70.08 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
- Sign-on bonus:
Up to $10,000
- Shifts:
Day Shift- 7:00 AM–3:30 PM & Evening Shift: 3:00 PM–11:30 PM - Rotating day and evening shifts, Monday–Friday and no weekends required
- Coordinate daily unit operations, staffing, and patient assignments
- Provide clinical guidance and support to nursing staff
- Monitor patient conditions and facilitate admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Delegate duties and support staff orientation and development
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes
- Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Graduate of an approved nursing program; BSN preferred
- Minimum 2 years of staff nursing experience
- Strong clinical, communication, leadership, and critical-thinking skills
- Current American Heart Association CPR certification required
- Specialty board certification required within 2 years of promotion
