Berglund Animal Hospital is an independently owned, AAHA certified small animal hospital located in the vibrant community of Evanston, IL. We have been proudly serving Chicago's North Shore since 1955. We are a busy, progressive small-animal practice known for providing exceptional care and building long‑term relationships with our clients and their pets. Our well‑educated clients and team allow for thorough case work‑up.
Our practice offers a diverse caseload ranging from wellness care, surgical and dental procedures to complex medical cases. Our office hours allow for work*); work/life balance due to phenomenal local urgent care and emergency practices that partner with us.
We are seeking a full‑time (or part‑time) Veterinarian to join our dedicated team at Berglund Animal Hospital.
Requirements: The ideal addition to our team will display:
- Expertise in Veterinary Medicine, including diagnostics, treatment planning, and preventative care.
- Strong communication and client education skills to effectively explain treatment plans to pet owners.
- Attention to detail and critical thinking skills for accurate record‑keeping and treatment evaluation.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent qualifications and licensure to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Illinois.
