• Serve resident meals in a timely manner and reset tables for the next meal.
• Serve room trays as needed for meals.
• Always exemplify community standards of cleanliness, sanitation and organization. Responsible for adhering to food quality, appearance and presentation standards at all times.
• Always exhibit dining room appearance and presentation standards.
• Exemplify community standards of fully staffed, operational, and stocked dining room.
• Exhibit serving standards of speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Knowledge in areas of serving, preparation and shift organization.
• Set tables and maintain workstations in proper order. Take orders, provide service and requested items both graciously and courteously. Answer pertinent questions about menu items.
• Clear dishes from tables during and after meal service, assist with dish washing.
• Serve customers using proper serving etiquette and promote an inviting dining atmosphere.
• Knowledge of diets provided and served correctly per policy and procedure.
• The community embraces a culture of hospitality. All employees are expected, as a condition of employment, to uphold our culture expectations in all interactions with residents, fellow employees, and guests.

• Previous serving experience preferred but not required.
• Team player.
• Reliable.
• Good communication skills (oral and written).
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Required to receive the annual flu vaccine, excluding religious or medical exemptions.
