Position Summary
  • Serve resident meals in a timely manner and reset tables for the next meal.
  • Serve room trays as needed for meals.
  • Always exemplify Community standards of cleanliness, sanitation and organization.
    Responsible for adhering to food quality, appearance and presentation standards at all times.
  • Always exhibit dining room appearance and presentation standards.
  • Exemplify community standards of fully staffed, operational, and stocked dining room.
  • Exhibit serving standards of speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Knowledge in areas of serving, preparation and shift organization.
  • Set tables and maintain workstations in proper order. Take orders, provide service and requested items both graciously and courteously. Answer pertinent questions about menu items.
  • Clear dishes from tables during and after meal service, assist with dish washing.
  • Serve customers using proper serving etiquette and promote an inviting dining atmosphere.
  • Knowledge of diets provided and served correctly per policy and procedure.
  • The Community embraces a culture of hospitality. To that end, all employees are expected as a condition of employment to uphold our culture expectations in all interactions with residents, fellow employees, and guests.
Qualifications
  • Previous serving experience preferred but not required
  • Team Player
  • Reliable
  • Good communication skills (oral and written)
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Required to receive the annual Flu vaccine, excluding religious or medical exemptions.
