Position OverviewHHR Ambassador/Attendant responsible for managing Players Club accounts, processing cash transactions, handling OTB bets, and ensuring compliance with WHR procedures. Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security and cleanliness of the operating area.
Key Responsibilities- Must be 21 years or older.
- Punctual: report for duty 5 minutes before morning shifts and 15 minutes before night shift changes.
- Maintain an acceptable level of attendance as absenteeism affects colleagues and site operations.
- Maintain a high standard of appearance and personal hygiene at all times in accordance with company procedures.
- Cooperate with staff, colleagues, and superiors at all times.
- Communicate constantly with Manager regarding matters arising during the shift.
- Secure terminal keys, count cash drawers hourly and at closing to balance with reports.
- Assist in floor duties as assigned.
- Learn money handling to gain experience and organizational skills.
- Create Players Club accounts, update player information, and perform general customer management system functions.
- Ensure accuracy in all responsibilities, including cash handling, logging, and processing paperwork.
- Assist guests with OTB bets and handicapping on the HHR terminal.
- Place OTB wagers for customers.
- Explain Players Club card program benefits, property amenities, and promotions to customers.
- Have a complete understanding of the WHR employee handbook and adhere to its regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding company procedures, all company collections from terminals, safes, operations, and customer information.
- Handle cash securely and in accordance with all relevant procedures.
- Complete all procedures securely and in accordance with company policies.
- Complete all customer transactions accurately and in a timely fashion.
- Assist in transferring jackpot money to customers in a confidential and secure process.
- Ensure the work area (floor & counter) is clean before leaving.
- Handle all equipment with care on a daily basis.
- Ensure compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and the property’s AML policy.
- Monitor for suspicious activity as defined by the BSA and the property’s AML policy.
- Undertake limited technical duties under supervision.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Proficient understanding and use of basic mathematical skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- High degree of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of mechanical operations.
- At least 1 year customer service experience.
- Gaming industry experience preferred but not required.
Starting pay rate is $17.00/hour. Wyoming Horse Racing offers medical, dental, and vision insurance plus paid time off. Must be 21 years or older and able to pass a pre‑employment background check and drug screen.
