Job Title: Business Analyst II
Duration: 12 months (potential for extension)
Location: Evansville, Indiana
Note: on-site 5 days/week, some travel required (Likely once per month within 10-mile range)
Responsibilities- This role contributes to the overall daily operations within Technology Services End User Operations to provide the necessary tools to the end users of our entire corporation. The assigned activities are handled within specified periods of time, including the generation of data to report out pertinent measurements for trend analysis, growth metrics and/or process enhancement opportunities. The end-to-end life cycle management for end users entails various crucial duties to supply the necessary assets and services to sustain resilience and productivity.
This may include purchase orders, processing of invoices, data gathering, dashboard reporting, sourcing collaboration, and financial acumen for budgetary and procurement protocols. Computers, monitors, printers, mobile devices are examples of hardware assets. Data plans, software, email, and other corporate standard applications are examples of software services. Verbal interactions with end users and team members is mission critical to maintain open communication and knowledge sharing for successful end-results and customer satisfaction.
The position is fast-paced and requires initiative, sense of urgency, critical thinking, flexibility, an investigative and positive mindset, and a well-versed in verbal and written communication skills with basic understanding of SAP and analytical strategies to provide the necessary resources to our end users with a focus on an enhanced user experience. A fundamental comprehension of computers and the operational systems is required, while staying current on new technology, corporate standards, authorized workflows and approved policies.
- Basic understanding of SAP components
- Capacity to acquire and execute forecasting and budgeting alignments
- Knowledge in procurement protocols to submit purchase orders and process invoices accurately
- Ability to audit data for compliancy and accuracy of records
- Has basic knowledge of mobile devices and the offered services
- Possesses basic understanding of enterprise network infrastructure
- Basic knowledge of computer technology
- Understand the operational requirements for asset management
- Clear understanding of operational and governance processes and policies
- Familiar with requirements for asset inventory capacities and control
- Utilizes databases to generate reporting and has understanding of the data
- Creation of Excel reporting and/or dashboards
- Support, maintain, and report time tracking
- Proficient in utilizing Service Now for ticketing, asset management and report generation
- Develop and contribute to various metrics for trend measurements to improve operational efficiencies
- Comprehends life cycle processes for optimization of corporate-standard assets
- Some proficiency in software asset management licensing and entitlements
- Familiar with licensing types and packaging of software
- Facilitates periodic meetings with internal teams or strategic partners as needed
- Observes compliancy and adherence to SLA's and other performance metrics
- Recognizes and integrates genuine customer service practices in daily activities
- Adheres to security protocols
- Understands the importance of physical safety
- Cognizant of cybersecurity risks to our environment and the preventative measures to take
- Benchmarking and process improvement to enhance end user services
- Recognizes the value of managed asset operations through standardization and strategic goals.
- Proficient in written and verbal communications
- Understands requirements for Agile methodology for supporting operating platforms
- Provides consultation to end users as needed
- Technologically intimate with IT industry trends and directions
- Proficient in O365; including Cloud services with exposure to MS Teams for chat, sharing and other featured capabilities
- Knowledge of corporate policies and guidelines (Financial, Accounting, Purchasing & Logistics, etc.)
- Supportive and involved in Emergency Operations events
- Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
- Ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles to work as needed.
- Ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses.
- Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel;
Enterprise Application experience a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in business management, economics, finance, accounting or relevant field required (OR equivalent work experience)
