Part Time Patient Customer Service Representative

Location: Ascension St. Mary' s Health Evansville

Shift: PRN, as needed, minimum required hours a month 48, 24 on call, additional shifts available

You will be the first friendly face patients meet when they check into the hospital.

• Help patients navigate the registration process
• Answer questions with confidence, clarity, and compassion

• Work across multiple computer systems to register patients efficiently
• Answer phones and gather information quickly and accurately
• Assist patients who may be ill, anxious, or confused
• Navigate diverse insurance plans and coverage details (with training!)
• Adapt to interruptions from clinical teams during urgent care situations
• Build rapport and ease patient concerns in real time

• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong customer service experience
• Ability to pass background check, drug test, and meet vaccination requirements

• Medical or healthcare experience (but not required!)

Base pay range is $14.00 - $18.99 per hour. Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
