Locum - Physician - OB Hospitalist Evansville, IN

Required Skills:

Medical degree from an accredited institution (MD or DO)

Board certification or eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology

Valid Indiana medical license or ability to obtain one

Proven experience in OB hospitalist duties or related obstetric practice

Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Nice to Have

Skills:

Experience working in a hospitalist setting

Ultrasound proficiency

Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems

Ability to handle high-acuity obstetric cases independently

Preferred

Education and Experience:

Completion of an OB/GYN residency program

Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an OB hospitalist or in a comparable role

Previous experience in a locum or temporary capacity is advantageous

Other Requirements:

Must hold or be eligible to obtain Indiana medical licensure

Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)

Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Willingness to travel to and from hospital locations as needed

Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements provided when applicable
