Our hospital is an 80-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital that offers comprehensive inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services designed to return patients to leading active and independent lives.

Our hospital provides a wide range of physical rehabilitation services, a vast network of highly-skilled, independent private practice physicians and Health South therapists and nurses, and the most innovative equipment and rehabilitation technology, ensuring that all patients have access to the highest quality care. Designed with our patient s care in mind, Health South Deaconess Rehabilitation Hospital offers 80 semi-private rooms with flat screen televisions, telephones and wireless internet capabilities.

This 80,000-square-foot hospital serves patients throughout the tri-state area and is located at 4100 Covert Avenue, Evansville, Indiana.

HEALTHSOUTH PM&R PHYSICIAN DESCRIPTION

PM&R Physician will establish a private practice to include a caseload of medically complex inpatient rehabilitation patients and an outpatient rehabilitation practice if he or she chooses. The Physiatrist will set up a relationship with an independent billing company and retain 100% of his/her own billing and collections. Health South hospitals are extremely busy with high patient volumes Health South has its own well-trained outreach teams that identify appropriate inpatient rehabilitation candidates from surrounding areas.

QUALIFICATIONS

MD or DO with state medical license or willingness to obtain state license
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
Patient-centered commitment to excellence
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
Hospital-based physiatry experience preferred but not required
Interest in being a part of a thriving community
