Position Details: Early Childhood Assistant positions are based on a 183 day school year, 5 days per week and 6.75 hours per day. This position will float between various rooms and locations based on staffing needs, supporting all ages of the program.

Paid Stipends!

Full-time, early childhood assistants can receive up to three paid stipends in the 2024-25 school year! These stipends provide an additional week of pay during Fall, Winter and Spring breaks! The hourly rate for a current EVSC assistant will be based on years of service with EVSC in an assistant role. Annual, incremental pay increases are given for each year of service with the EVSC in this role if an employee has worked 120 days in a school year.

New employees will begin on year 1.

• Completion of the Child Development Associate Certificate and/or completion of an associate's or bachelor's degree in early childhood education required;

• Complete required online professional development within 60 days of employment.
