Low-Voltage Systems Sales Engineer

Location: Evansville, IN (or willing to relocate)

Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $60,000–$75,000 base + 1% commission on projects engineered accurately and delivered within budget

• Extensive knowledge of cable infrastructure, security, surveillance, and access control systems.
• Hands-on experience in installation or engineering.
• Experience in a sales engineering role or related fields.
• Must be based in the Evansville, Indiana area or willing to relocate.

A growing technology and low-voltage systems organization is seeking a motivated Sales Engineer to support opportunities across cable infrastructure, security, surveillance, and access control systems
. This role blends technical expertise with customer-facing communication to produce accurate proposals, define scope, and ensure projects are set up for success from the start.

• Partner with customers and the sales team to conduct job site visits and confirm scope accuracy
• Engineer sales opportunities and translate requirements into detailed, accurate proposals
• Develop clear scopes of work aligned with customer needs and project specifications
• Provide expert guidance based on hands-on installation, estimating, or engineering experience
• Communicate solutions confidently and build long-term client relationships
• Support project execution by ensuring engineered work stays on budget and meets quality standards

• Experience in a Sales Engineer role or similar technical/customer-facing position
• Strong knowledge of cable infrastructure, security, surveillance, and access control systems
• Hands-on background in installation, estimating, engineering, or system design
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams
• Must be located in Evansville, IN or open to relocation
