Essential Functions:

Customer contact via telephone, and/or, in person

Entering customer orders

Quoting customer pricing, both verbally and electronically

Expediting customer orders and direct purchase orders when customer inquires

Negotiating pricing with customers and vendors

Interaction with outside sales personnel

Interaction with vendor representatives

Pricing large spreadsheet type quote packages (Excel)
Quick decision making ability

Other duties, which may be assigned by manager

Skills and Requirements Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Power PointP
21 knowledge preferred

Product knowledge preferred - MRO products, fasteners, metalworking, construction and safety

Education and Experience High School Diploma required – some college preferred

Experience in a fast-paced environment preferred

Experience in customer service setting preferred
